Olympic National Park
In April of 2012 we took a short trip to Washington state to visit my step son's family who just had twin baby boys. Never one to miss out on an excuse to go searching for photographs, we rented a condo out near the coast and explored Olympic National Park. Much of the time it was raining (imagine that - rain in a rain forest) but there were some periods where the sun popped out long enough to get some nice shots and one beautiful sunset.

Waterfall - Quinault Rain Forest - Olympic National Park
Along the south short of Lake Quinault is a collection of hiking trails which follow streams up to some nice waterfalls. In fact, the drive along the shore and up the river is filled with waterfalls. This photograph of some ferns was taken near a wooden bridge along one of the trails leading up into the forest.
