California
I've lived in California for more than 30 years but, with limited resources (i.e no car or money to travel), I really didn't get a chance to see much until I was over 40. And it's only been in the last five years or so that I found myself getting back into photography.
While I have enough photographs from both Yosemite and Death Valley to create a gallery for each location, this gallery is for shots taken here and there along the coast or in other locations.

Balclutha - a restored 1886 Square Rigged Sailing Ship
We spent a few hours one afternoon on a visit to San Francisco down around Fisherman's Wharf. Personally, much of the area is a bit too much of the "tourist trap" sort of affair. But there are some interesting old ships you can visit at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park at the Hyde Street Pier. It doesn't cost much to get in, the folks working there are both nice and helpful and it wasn't very crowded when we were there.
