A collection of photographs from multiple trips made over the years. In 2012 my wife and I paid for private photography access that allowed us to go into several of the houses.
This was in back of a residence in Bodie that is apparently used by rangers staying in the park. It caught my eye as we drove in and I hiked over later to take a photograph.
