Bodie State Park - Lottie Johl House
This photograph was taken on the photography workshop in Bodie where it was possible to set up a tripod inside the house. While there is a similar shot taken from the window, it is interesting to notice how a subtle change in angle can dramatically change the composition. For one, while I'd looked through and photographed through the window many times, I don't think I ever really noticed that there was a checker game on the table. That's partly because the view through the window is quite low. This photograph is also earlier in the morning than when the park opens for the public and the sunlight coming in is much warmer than later in the day (the park doesn't open until 9am).
